Here’s a detailed look at the Bhutan tour cancellation fees:

• 10% Administrative Fee: Regardless of when you cancel, a 10% administrative fee will be deducted from the tour cost as a processing fee.
• 60 Days or More Prior to Arrival: If you cancel 60 days or more before your scheduled arrival date in Bhutan, there will be no penalty, except for wire transfer fees if applicable.
• 59-30 Days Prior to Arrival: Cancelling within this timeframe will incur a 40% cancellation fee in addition to any wire transfer fees.
• 29-15 Days Prior to Arrival: Should you cancel between 29 and 15 days before your Bhutan arrival date, a 50% cancellation fee will be applied, along with wire transfer fees.
• Less Than 15 Days Prior to Arrival: If you cancel less than 15 days before your Bhutan arrival date or after your arrival in Bhutan, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged, and your payment will be non-refundable.

It’s important to note that Druk Heritage is not responsible for any additional charges that may be imposed by the Department of Tourism, airlines, or local banks.

• USD 50 Administrative Fee: An administration fee of USD 50 will be applicable for all canceled tickets that have already been issued by the airline.
• 30 Days or More Before Departure: Cancelling your flight 30 days or more before the departure date will result in a 15% cancellation fee.
• 29-10 Days Before Departure: If you cancel your flight within this timeframe, a 30% cancellation fee will be applied.
• 9-4 Days Before Departure: Cancelling between 9 and 4 days before your flight will incur a 55% cancellation fee.
• 4 Days or Less Before Departure: Should you need to cancel your flight within 4 days or less of the departure date, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged.

• Airline Regulations: Keep in mind that airline rules may involve extra charges for changes in dates, routes, or flight times. There will be no refund on such re-rescheduled/re-issued tickets, and you will bear 100% cancellation fees.   
• Flight Delays: Bhutan experiences occasional arrival and departure delays, especially during the monsoon season. Flights are subject to weather conditions and visibility, so scheduling your flights with some buffer time for unforeseen circumstances is best.
• Roadblocks: If you’re traveling to central or eastern Bhutan during the monsoon season, roadblocks can happen. Rest assured, Druk Heritage will make every effort to resolve such situations for your convenience swiftly.
