Aman Kora, Paro

Aman resort in Paro is located at an elevation of 2,250 meters, overlooking the beautiful Paro valley. Situated among the thick pine forests, the lodge offers 24 suites, with its wall clad in wood and black steel paneling. Other amenities include traditional wood-burning stoves, banquette window seats, and king-size beds. It is located in the rarely visited Phobjikha Valley near Gangtey Village. The Valley has one of the oldest monasteries in the country- Gangtey Goenpa (16th century). The Valley is the winter home for nearly 300 endangered Tibetan Black-Necked Cranes and offers scenic views. The lodge offers king-sized beds, traditional wood-burning stoves, and banquette window seats. The bathrooms have terrazzo- clad bathtubs.

It is a winter home for His Holiness, the Je Khenpo (Head of religion in Bhutan). Due to its location at a subtropical latitude, the valley offers fresh and organic vegetables and orange orchards. Punakha is also known for producing the famous Bhutanese red rice and hot Bhutanese chilies. All accommodations offer king-sized bedroom, traditional wood-burning stoves and banquette window seats. All the lodges have almost the same amenities but with a variety of views and locations.
