Bhutan was simply fascinating and Druk Heritage was an excellent choice. My travel specialist and his team knew exactly what was needed out of this very special trip. Budget wasn’t an issue because I got more than what I deserved. Worth every dollar. The Itinerary was well planned well in advance with my personal guide Pelden always there with surprises. My guide took great care of me from start to finish along with my driver Kinga who was very helpful and friendly. The hotels I chose were great and just the right kind of place to stay when you’re in Bhutan.

I highly recommend this experience to anyone wishing to visit the Last Shangrila because this is not the first time I’m here in this beautiful Kingdom, but my third time. I was hand held from the off, from the visas, documents to check ins and the amount of currency I would require each day.

Being a food writer, the team took matters beautifully and took me to places patronised by locals. – I ate terribly well. And sampled lots of local cuisines one might not find in a restaurant geared towards tourists.

I have to also thank my personal guide and driver – Sonam and Kinley for taking care of me as we travelled on the winding mountain roads of Bhutan. I’ll be back for sure.

My family of four had the most amazing tour of Bhutan made so memorable not just by the amazing country but also by Druk Heritage.From our initial contact with them until they delivered us back to the airport they took such good care of us.

Our guide Sonam and Kalden made sure everything was perfect. They worked with us to make sure the tour was good for us and our two young children aged 7 and 10.

We were nervous about how our kids would handle the trip but with the help of the travel team, they had an amazing time and are still asking when Sonam – our guide is coming to visit them so they can give him a tour of New Olreans.

Sonam was so knowledgeable that we even noticed tour guides from other companies and other locals listening to him as he taught and entertained us about Bhutanese and Buddhist culture and history.
